HACCP is internationally-recognised is a systematic preventive approach to food safety which helps ensure the production of safe food and provides the basis for an effective food safety management system as laid down in the ISO 22000 standard.
After an inspection of its overall documentation and the accompanying files and critical control points, AKD successfully verified its food management system – HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point). HACCP pertains to the preparation, storage and distribution of foodstuffs to supervise their quality and compliance with health standards by means of critical control points, enhancement of existing storage facilities, modernization of food storage and preparation equipment, and training of AKD’s staff.
